The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, appointed new vice-ministers of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs this Monday.

Through his Telegram channel, he noted that Mauricio Rodríguez will be the new vice-minister for Latin America, “who, with his outstanding career and professionalism, will continue to promote our foreign policy aimed at peace and integration, as well as the union of our peoples, based on mutual respect and fraternal cooperation.”

The Deputy Ministry for International Communication will be led by Rander Peña. “I know that, with his experience and demonstrated abilities, he will bring the truth of Venezuela to the people. We thank Camilla Fabri from Saab for her performance at the head of this office,” he said.

In addition, Rodríguez appointed Andrea Corao Faria as Deputy Minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, stressing that “her commitment and capacity will strengthen our diplomacy with countries of the world with whom we have strategic relations to continue consolidating the defense of sovereignty and solidarity cooperation between sister peoples.”

Finally, he appointed Oliver Blanco to head the Vice Ministry for Europe and North America, a “young Venezuelan in international relations who has had partisan opposition militancy, and maintains a firm commitment to the country. Venezuela will use your commitment and professionalism. Young people continue to have an important space in national life,” emphasized the president in charge.
