President in Charge asks businessmen to defend the hydrocarbon industry based on national and international legality

Delcy Rodríguez, president in charge of the Bolivian Republic of Venezuela, called for the support of the Venezuelan business sector in the battle for sovereignty, independence and national development.
“We want to ask that you join us in this battle for Venezuela, for its sovereignty, for its independence, for the development of hydrocarbons without any kind of protection and that we be the true defenders not only of the industry, but of international legality in the commercial sphere and that no company feels pressure or constraint beyond what is contemplated in the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela”, was the call of the President in Charge during the Business Meeting with the Hydrocarbons Sector, which took place at the Miraflores Palace, in Caracas,
This event was attended by representatives of private companies, including Spain's Repsol and North American companies Chevron and Shell. Also noteworthy is the presence of the spokespersons of 31 CPP and the contracts for productive participation in oil and hydrocarbons.
The senior government official is accompanied by private and public businessmen from the sector and national authorities, including the Sectorial Vice President of Economy, Calixto Ortega; the president of Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Héctor Obregón; the Minister of Economy and Finance, Anabel Pereira; and vice-ministers of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and the entire board of directors of PDVSA.
