The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, asked the Special Commission for Monitoring the Amnesty Law for Democratic Coexistence to expedite its functions as quickly as possible, as well as the Judicial Revolution Commission, the National Assembly and the Coexistence and Peace program to take action in reviewing cases not provided for in this legal instrument enacted this Thursday.

“I also want to ask the Judicial Revolution Commission, chaired by the sectoral vice-president of Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, the National Assembly and the Democratic Coexistence and Peace program, to take action in reviewing cases not covered by the Amnesty Law and their relevant recommendations to heal wounds, redirect democratic coexistence and justice,” the president urged.

He added that in this objective all Venezuelans must do their bit to heal the wounds of this period of intolerance and political violence as soon as possible.

We need peace for Venezuela, the peace of mind to continue taking steps that allow us to meet each one of you who are not representatives of political parties but of Venezuelans,” said the dignitary.
