President in Charge asks for support from religious leaders in the Democratic Coexistence Program

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, asked the
country's religious leaders this Friday for their support to cure “expressions of hate” through the Program for
Peace and Democratic Coexistence.
From the Miraflores Palace, during a meeting with religious
leaders, the president in charge expressed her desire that “more Venezuelans and
more Venezuelans will join, based on difference and diversity, but who seek encounter.
A meeting thinking about how to guarantee peace in
Venezuela, how to guarantee coexistence between brothers and sisters”.
He stressed that the interreligious forum “is a space par
excellence, where there is no place for political positions, but where we are all united in serving Venezuela as a single country, as a plural country that we
are.”
In this regard, he asked the interreligious forum for
collaboration, cooperation and help to “cure expressions of hate, to cure
expressions of intolerance, which led us to extreme positions that
justified missiles from foreign military powers falling in our homeland”.
