The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, this Tuesday, April 7, called for the unity of all Venezuelan women and urged them to transcend partisan differences, in order to prioritize common objectives that guarantee the future of the next generations.
During a meeting held in the Simon Bolivar Hall of the Miraflores Palace, as part of the strengthening of the Program for Peace and Democratic Coexistence, he emphasized that Venezuelan women have the legitimate right to choose their membership and exercise their vote independently, since there is a space for common struggle that requires the active participation of all.
“I ask you to come together as women, because there are many changes that Venezuela needs today to guarantee the future, which will require the support of women, the participation of women,” she emphasized.
She also took the opportunity to reiterate her recognition that the position currently occupied by Venezuelan women is the product of decades of resistance in every space that it has been up to them to defend.
It also ratified the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to continue promoting spaces of coexistence and female empowerment in the country.
