President-in-Charge confirms upcoming meeting with Colombian President Gustavo Petro

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, announced the contact through a telephone call with the President of Colombia Gustavo Petro, with whom she plans an upcoming meeting to speed up binational integration.

“Today I spoke with the President of the Republic of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, and we agreed to hold a binational meeting soon at the level of heads of state to continue advancing key issues on the economic, energy and security agenda, within the framework of strengthening cooperation and relations of respect and joint work between the two countries. We continue to promote a relationship of understanding and shared benefits for the well-being of our peoples.
