President in charge: Consulta Popular will serve building infrastructure in Caracas and in several states

This Monday, March 9th, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, announced that the Bolivarian Government will extend the Popular Consultation to serve the infrastructure of buildings located in Caracas and in several states of the country.

“We want to extend this Popular Consultation to also address the situations that exist in some buildings in the city and other cities in the country, which need elevators, waterproofing, water pumps and painting,” he said.

This was stated in the Simón Rodríguez sector of the Ciudad Tiuna Housing Complex, in the Coche parish, where there was a large percentage of participation last Sunday, March 8, in the National Popular Consultation 2026.

He stressed that “the neighborhood movement also joins these Popular Consultation processes that are provided for in our Constitution as a mechanism of participatory and leading democracy.”

The president in charge said that she shared happiness with the community members, with the community members, with the organized community, “these are collective projects and collective solutions, which is what we like.”

“The thing is that the community is in the territorial spaces where the community comes face to face and well decides, it decides where we are going to invest the resources (...) something very important is the program of democratic coexistence and peace, it has also been meeting with the neighborhood movement with the condominiums,” he stressed.
