The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, stated that Cocoa from Venezuela is the best in the world.

This was stated during his visit to the Cakawa chocolate shop, where he shared with local entrepreneurs, the importance of positioning Venezuelan cocoa and chocolate in the world market, since their flavor and quality are authentic.

President Rodríguez specified that there are currently 1,091 organized communities with their own spokespersons and spokespersons for cacao throughout the country, according to the Presidential Press.

On the day, the head of state in charge also ordered that the relevance of cocoa be equated with that of coffee, pointing out that “coffee has been given a lot of importance, so with cocoa it must be done in the same way” and asked the Minister of Popular Power for Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia to organize projects with cocoa and chocolate entrepreneurs, and in this way, to internationalize the product.
