President in charge Delcy Rodríguez expects 20% growth in tourism in Nueva Esparta

The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, said this Thursday, March 26, that the state of Nueva Esparta expects 20% growth in the tourism sector for this year.
In this regard, he congratulated the tourist chambers and hotel operators, for the revival in their economic activities, and announced that this Holy Week will be “safe, peaceful and prosperous”, and will strongly boost the national economy.
This was reported during a tour of the San Carlos Borromeo Castle, where he announced the deployment of Easter 2026, together with the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello; the Minister of Popular Power for Youth, Sergio Lotartaro; and the governor of the entity, Marisel Velásquez Salazar.
The president in charge also visited the spaces of the “El Datile” Productive Commune. In this space, he reiterated his confidence in “the local economy, in the communal economy of the State, in the entrepreneurial economy, the economy of entrepreneurs, the tourism economy, is the path of productive evolution, of prosperous Venezuela”.
