President in charge Delcy Rodríguez leads the National Culture Awards ceremony

From the National Art Gallery, the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led the presentation of the National Cultural Awards, the highest award given by the State to the artistic career and creation of the country's cultors.

The President also took a tour of the gallery spaces, where she was able to appreciate the Handicrafts Fair, an immersive experience that has eight (8) demonstration stations, and in which master craftsmen from six states of the country are present, to exhibit the processes of weaving in looms, ceramics, Warao basketry and the construction of instruments such as the Venezuelan four.

This activity was held on March 19, National Day of Craftsmen and Craftswomen, as part of the recognition of Venezuelan artists who reflect in each process the most tangible manifestation of Venezuelan identity and ancestral knowledge.
