This Wednesday, the President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a working meeting with senior representatives of the African Energy Chamber (AEC), with the objective of strengthening ties of energy cooperation that contribute to the strengthening of the oil and gas sector.

This cooperation aims to integrate the African energy sector with the Venezuelan experience in hydrocarbons, so this meeting will strengthen technical and commercial exchange between both nations.

In addition, it seeks to establish a common front for investment, the sovereign development of resources and the search for joint solutions.

It is important to highlight that Venezuela has participated in high-level forums in Africa, such as the event in Cape Town in September 2025, where Venezuelan participation reinforced its active role in global debates on hydrocarbons and positioned it as a key actor in energy cooperation, especially with African nations.

Among the authorities present at this meeting were the president of the African Energy Chamber, NJ Ayuk, the founder of Premier Invest, Manfred René Ndonuien, the director of Business Development of the Nigerian company Oando, Ejike Iheme; the Senior Vice President of the African Energy Chamber, Verner Ayukegba, and the Media Advisor of the African Energy Chamber (Egypt), Amna Bakr.
