President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez received the Colombian Minister of Mines and Energy, Edwin Palma

The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, received this Friday at the Miraflores Palace the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr. Ayman Hussein Al-Safadi.

The Jordanian diplomat, who also serves as his nation's vice-prime minister, was previously received with honors by Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil Pinto, in order to deepen a bilateral work agenda and ratify the friendship between the two governments under the principles of sovereignty and self-determination.

During the meeting, both authorities are expected to review the progress of a diplomatic relationship that has more than 70 years of history, mainly in key sectors such as tourism, commerce and air connectivity, taking into account the possibility of establishing a hotline to reduce export costs.
