President in charge Delcy Rodríguez signed into law the Venezuelan Red Cross

In the framework of National Physician's Day, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Tuesday, March 10, the central event on the occasion of the enactment of the new Venezuelan Red Cross Law.
“In the framework of Doctor's Day, we also wanted to sign the Venezuelan Red Cross Law, it is an achievement for our country to have this Law that recognizes the virtues of organizations such as the Venezuelan Red Cross, as integrated into our country's risk management system,” he said.
At the event held in the outdoor spaces of the Miraflores Palace, he said that “today is a special day for our country because we are celebrating Doctor's Day, and I welcome the doctors of Venezuela on this important day where we highlight the good spirit of our health professionals.”
He stated that “we know that they have a commitment in detachment to take care of the lives of others, to take care of the good health of citizens of the citizen”
The president in charge also stated that this is “a neutral independent organization also becomes an auxiliary body of our risk management system”.
“I want to greet the president of the Red Cross, Luis Farías, and also to greet the head of the delegation of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Crescent Society, Nelson Alí Rodríguez, as well as Valeri Obert, head of delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross,” he said.
Also present at the event were the second vice-president of the Red Cross, Mario Santimone, “greetings to all those who are accompanying us here, such as María Teresa Farima, welcome, head of nursing with 74 years of experience, our recognition, and welcome to all the volunteers of the Red Cross”.
