On the occasion of the celebration of the 167th Anniversary of the Venezuelan Peasant Federation, this Friday, February 20, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that “today is an anti-elite day, a day of greater social and economic democracy.”

“When we see the comparison between the fourth and the fifth Republic of the surrender of land, with Commander Hugo Chávez and President Nicolás Maduro, we stand out,” he said.

This was stated at the Ubre Project Farm in Mamcote, near the Petare-Guarenas highway in Miranda state, where he stressed that land titles have been handed out across the country, “practically 168 thousand hectares, it is social justice for our people”.

“Today is a very important day for Venezuela, it can be said that 167 years after the Federation's Cry for Free Men and Women! and land in fair distribution,” he stressed.

The president in charge stressed that land is given to social bases, “to small and medium-sized producers, not to large producers who have their own means.”
