The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Eloína Rodríguez, during her participation in the electoral simulation of the national consultation on March 8, highlighted the democratic tradition of Venezuelans that allows their inhabitants to decide on public policies and investments for the community by voting.

We are very happy in this democratic exercise, because we are also in a constitutional act, in Venezuelan democracy it is contemplated in the Constitution, that the popular consultation is a mechanism of democracy, so well we are exercising; another aspect to do with the people deciding and public policies, so we are protected by the Constitution of Venezuela, deepening democracy, more than 36,000 projects were selected in the assemblies,” said the president in charge from the Mirabal commune in the Santa Teresa Parish in Caracas.

, He also highlighted the simplicity of the voting mechanism of the Venezuelan electoral system, which is increasingly refining the suffrage process and auditing processes.

“What we have seen here is that for this election, the first popular consultation election of the year 2026, we will have a thousand more voting centers, which allows for greater participation, for it to be accessible throughout the territory and for all citizens to come and vote for their project,” said the president in charge of the Republic.
