President in Charge: First popular consultation of the year 2026 will have an additional thousand voting centers

The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Eloína Rodríguez, during her participation in the electoral simulation of the national consultation on March 8, highlighted the democratic tradition of Venezuelans that allows their inhabitants to decide on public policies and investments for the community by voting.

“We are very happy in this democratic exercise, because we are also in a constitutional act, in Venezuelan democracy it is contemplated in the Constitution, that the popular consultation is a mechanism of democracy, so well we are exercising; another aspect to do with the people deciding and public policies, so we are protected by the Constitution of Venezuela, deepening democracy, more than 36,000 projects were selected in the assemblies,” said the president in charge from the Mirabal commune in the Santa Teresa Parish in Caracas.
