President in Charge invites the population to the Popular Consultation this Sunday

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, invited the People to participate in the National Popular Consultation this Sunday, stressing that this mechanism strengthens sovereignty and direct exercise with communities.

“In this spirit, we are going to the Popular Consultation: let's exercise sovereignty in 5,336 communal circuits and defend peace and the future of Venezuela,” he said through his Telegram channel.

Rodríguez indicated that this Friday he visited the El Maizal Socialist Community, where he participated in the celebration of his 17 years of organization and collective work. He stressed that this space is a national reference because of its productive capacity and because it emerged on land reclaimed by Commander Hugo Chávez as part of the country's transformation project.

During the visit, the president in charge highlighted the agricultural and agro-industrial production developed by the commune, whose results transcend borders.
It also announced the approval of resources aimed at promoting the industrialization of the productive projects that are being developed there.

Rodríguez stressed that the Popular Consultation will make it possible to advance the decision-making process of organized communities, consolidating direct participation in public management. He recalled that the process will be carried out in 5,336 communal circuits throughout the national territory.
