President-in-Charge leads meeting with PDVSA board of directors and the Council of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons

The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, leads a working meeting with the board of Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) and the Council of Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons.

In a review by Venezolana de Televisión, he points out that the meeting is being held at the headquarters of PDVSA La Estancia, in the municipality of Chacao, in order to consolidate the Nation's strategic energy agenda.

The meeting was attended by the president of the state oil company, Héctor Obregón, as well as other members of the Board of Directors.

The conference seeks to energize commercial alliances with international partners and strengthen Venezuela's capacity as a global energy reference, in order to consolidate the country's growth as a global energy power.

In addition, the work agenda included a review of the strategic guidelines of the petrochemical field, a sector fundamental to the transformation of raw materials and the diversification of the national economy.

During the development of the activity, advances in international cooperation were highlighted, including recent high-level approaches with authorities in the U.S. energy sector to reactivate joint projects under mutually beneficial schemes.
