President in Charge: Nueva Esparta and other states registered high hotel occupancy

This Monday, April 06, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that Nueva Esparta and other states in the country registered high hotel occupancy during the Easter holidays 2026.

“The high hotel occupancy of Nueva Esparta and other states of the country, between 90 and 100% occupancy, boosts the economy,” he said during the balance sheet for Safe Holy Week 2026, in which he also highlighted the holding of more than nine concerts with international guests on Margarita Island, which contributed to tourist dynamism during the holidays.

Rodríguez also pointed out that the coordination between the tourism and security sectors made it possible to guarantee the protection of citizens on roads, tourist sites, temples and cultural events, taking place in an environment of normality and peace.

In addition, he reiterated that more than 13.5 million people were mobilized throughout the national territory, representing an increase of close to 11% compared to 2025.
