President in charge of the Popular Consultation: Together we are making progress in building collective solutions

The president in charge Delcy Rodríguez asserted that the National Popular Consultation is a method to move forward together in building collective solutions.

“From our communities, we continue to send a clear message to the world: Venezuela is a people of peace and cares for peace. Together, we are moving forward in building collective solutions to guarantee the country's prosperity and the future of our children and young people,” Rodríguez said in a message posted on his social networks.

From the El Arañero de Sabaneta Commune in Fuerte Tiuna, the most voted in Caracas in the Popular Consultation, the President-in-Charge congratulated the country's communes and communal circuits “for their historic participation” in the Popular Consultation, which in her opinion demonstrates the strength of the people and their commitment to democracy.

“It was an extraordinary vote, a record of participation was broken and that is vitally important. We want to extend this popular consultation to address the situations that exist in some buildings across the country that need elevators, waterproofing water pumps and painting,” he said.

He emphasized that the popular consultation processes that are provided for in our Constitution as a mechanism of participatory and leading democracy.
