The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, during the delivery of the comprehensive rehabilitation works of the General Cemetery of the South, stressed that peace and tranquility constitute the firm decision that the Venezuelan people have taken as a nation.
“Peace, tranquility, is the decision we have taken as a country, from the National Government through the Democratic Coexistence and Peace program, seeking an end to hatred, extremism, intolerance and to deprive understanding, encounter, national unity and diversity, that is what should be deprived in Venezuela,” said the president in charge.
He also stressed that “the people mark the route, mark the north”, since the execution of these works not only represents a tangible benefit in the infrastructure and services of the communities, but also consolidates itself as the political and social north of the Venezuelan Nation.
“This is the path for our country, to continue working for the people so that the people can benefit from government works and that the people also mark the road, the people mark the north and that is what we are seeing with the execution of community projects, popular consultations,” he said.
