The President in Charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, signed strategic agreements this Thursday, March 12, with the Spanish energy and petrochemical multinational Repsol and with the Italian company Eni, to strengthen the hydrocarbons sector.

“Today we highlight the product of this joint work with this agreement that we have signed for Cardón 4, which not only guarantees the supply of gas to our country for national development, for domestic consumption, but will also allow expansion for exports and for Venezuela to follow the path of becoming a gas-exporting country,” he added.

During the activity, Rodríguez thanked Repsol and Eni because “they have been with the Venezuelan people in the toughest moments”, while congratulating the board of directors of PDVSA and PDVSA Gas for increasing production and that this translates to the benefit of the peoples of both Spain, Italy and Venezuela.
