The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, this Tuesday, February 24, oversaw compliance with environmental protection and sustainable tourism measures in the Morrocoy National Park, in Falcón state.
He stressed that the objective is to ensure environmental balance and promote responsible tourism with ecological awareness.
The supervision of this park located between Tucacas and Chichiriviche took shape after the authorities implemented new measures of order and environmental protection due to the high influx of tourists in the place, which was one of the favorite destinations of Venezuelans.
In recent days, during the balance of the Carnival for Peace 2026, the president in charge described as extraordinary those days of family enjoyment, which were reflected in a solid increase in national mobilization of 17% compared to 2025, but that “nature should be respected”.
This is a relevant point within the measures implemented by the Bolivarian Government, since it is based on the sixth transformation (6T) of the 2025-2031 Homeland Plan, called Ecosocialism, Science and Technology; which seeks to harmonize human life with nature.
