President in charge urged community circuits to participate in the National Vaccination Plan

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, invited regional and local authorities, as well as organized communities and community circuits, to actively participate in the yellow fever vaccination process and in actions aimed at the elimination of mosquitoes.
“I call on regional and local authorities and communities and community circuits to actively participate in the vaccination process, as well as to eliminate mosquito breeding sites,” he said from his Telegram channel.
Rodríguez reported that the Bolivarian Government is carrying out the implementation of the National Yellow Fever Vaccination Plan in 22 parishes in four priority states, as part of epidemiological prevention and control actions.
This Wednesday, Rodríguez met with the representative of PAHO/WHO in Venezuela, Dr. Armando De Negri Filho. At the meeting, they analyzed strategies aimed at strengthening the national public health system, guaranteeing its free and quality.
The president in charge stressed that this joint work makes it possible to consolidate fundamental instruments for the protection of the population.
Rodríguez stressed that health intervention will continue throughout the year, with the objective of expanding vaccination coverage and strengthening community prevention measures.
“This effort will continue throughout the year to protect Venezuelans,” he said.
