This Friday, February 20, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, urged the promotion of alliances with the private sectors to guarantee technical assistance to the peasant sectors, stressing that this articulation constitutes the true productive union that must be promoted.

The approach was made when referring to the fact that the Bolivarian Government has been following up on the actions of the National Peasant Union “Ezequiel Zamora” (UNCEZ), created in July 2025, by the head of state, Nicolás Maduro.

“It was created with very clear objectives, one of them is training and organization; the other is the defense of sovereignty in the territory, food sovereignty and production. A third objective is the productive economy,” he highlighted at the Mamcote Ubre Project Farm, near the Petare-Guarenas highway in Miranda state, where he led an event on the occasion of the celebration of the 167th Anniversary of the Venezuelan Peasant Federation,

In this regard, he stressed that “I have called for the great national productive union with the communal economy, with entrepreneurship, with industrialists, large producers and the Peasant Union, that together we guarantee national production, the fundamental thing: food. It's important to promote alliances.”

For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia, said that in the context of 167 years of the Federation, 5,322 Land Titles were awarded to the country's peasants and peasants in all federal entities of the national territory of Venezuela.
