President in charge urged to ensure environmentally friendly tourism: First of all, respect for nature

On the occasion of the recent events that occurred in the Morrocoy National Park, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that she vindicates the spirit of recreation and fun of our culture, “but we must do it with balance and respect for nature”, referring to some abuses detected in the area.
“I have seen certain abuses, that's why I asked the Minister of Ecosocialism and the president of INPARQUES , who were meeting today at a technical table, precisely with users, operators and Security Agencies,” he said.
In this sense, he confirmed that for the next vacation we must live “with balance”, pointing out that “human balance that first of all is respect for nature. That we have fun and have a space for recreation and enjoying our culture, but there has to be respect for the rights of nature.”
The statement was made in the spaces of PDVSA La Estancia, where he led the event where he led the event to provide the balance of the deployment of the Happy and Safe Carnivals 2026, together with the Sectorial Vice President of Policy, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón and other authorities.

He indicated that, based on these observations, progress has been made in a technical table aimed at promoting a model of sustainable tourism, with ecological awareness, respect for the environment and social responsibility.
In her speech, the president of INPARQUES, Rosinés Chávez, called for reflection on the responsible use of national and recreational parks, as well as natural monuments.
He stressed that the continuity of ecotourism and sustainable and sustainable tourism depends on achieving the necessary harmony between tourism development and human activity.
