This Friday, March 20, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that, despite the sanctions, economic growth can be verified and observed in all areas of the country, and the footwear sector “has also grown and is accompanied by public policies.”
In that sense, he mentioned public policies such as “the School Plan, Plan Z, which is a mechanism and a policy to accompany the national industry”.
“This is the recognition of the effort, the sacrifice of the workers of Venezuela and a recognition of the country that does not perform,” he emphasized.
He argued that despite the economic blockade, it is reflected that it is a Venezuela that does not rest, “is guarded by its future, its future, its hope, to leave our country, a free and developing Venezuela, to our sons and daughters.”
This was stated during a tour of the facilities of the Scady Footwear Plant, in the Sucre parish, as part of the deployment to strengthen the Industrial Engine.
On the other hand, the president in charge stated that the Entrepreneur Engine “is doing very well and the Engine of the Community Economy too, notice that these small and medium-sized industries are connected with entrepreneurs and the communes of this area, since it generates jobs and income for the family”.
“That's the idea, to gradually recover the income of workers and families. That's why I invited the country, to work together. That we overcome our differences, our partisan political diversity, so that we can join a single team, which is the Venezuelan team,” he said.
