The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
Delcy Rodríguez, during the 4th edition of the Priority in Future Investment Initiatives
summit, assured that the nation is leading the region's economic growth, according to the Economic
Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).
In this
regard, he specified that the Venezuelan economy had the “highest growth
in 2025 and three of the last four years it led growth in
South America”, while adding that “the sectors that grew the most were
construction, oil, finance and mining insurance.”
Specifically, he pointed out that the trend of the Venezuelan economy is one of recovery,
despite the restrictions imposed on the imposition of coercive and
unilateral measures, and added the importance of having “an industry and an economy that
can have freedom in the sovereign exercise of its powers and its power.”
