The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, said that Venezuelans defend the Federation's cry 167 years ago against the conservative oligarchy that wanted to seize political power and land.

“It is true that there are differences in land tenure and we are going to settle them, just as there are differences in the international arena that we are going to address within the framework of Bolivarian peace diplomacy. Venezuela must take a new path,” he said.

He added that “Venezuela was suffocated in foreign income, foreign exchange, and we must develop the engines of the economy that give income in foreign exchange (...) Today we are building a more democratic, just and free Venezuela and it must be with the efforts of all.”

He pointed out that the steps that are being taken today are being taken with a Bolivarian conscience and from Bolivarianism we must reach out to those who think differently. In this regard, he stated that “the Bolivar project refuses to allow Venezuela to be subjugated.”

He invited “the productive sectors to march together” and stressed that he speaks of “a new economic model where the communal economy prevails”.
