This Thursday, April 23, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that the Bolivarian Government aspires to continue implementing the work agenda based on respect, reporting on the arrival in Venezuela of the new diplomatic representative of the United States Government, John Barrett.

“We welcome you. Win-win cooperation must be marked for both countries,” he emphasized in Barquisimeto, Lara state, where he led the Great National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions.

In this regard, he affirmed that progress has been made and various actions have been taken, “but it is lacking, it is lacking, there cannot be a single sanction in force in Venezuela.”

“More than five million girls and boys were born in this decade of sanctions. We cannot inherit a blocked country, sanctioned those children or our grandparents and grandmothers, who were hit so hard by the blockade, so the call is for national unity, to work together,” he stressed.

He also reaffirmed that in the face of the events of January 3rd, “we said we are going to settle the differences with diplomatic dialogue”.
