The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, presented rehabilitated spaces at the headquarters of the Bolivarian Society of Venezuela, on the occasion of the 195th anniversary of the passage to immortality of the Liberator of the Fatherland, Simon Bolivar.
“Today, this delivery is made so that young people, communes and people come to visit the headquarters of the Bolivarian Society, and the thought, legacy and action of our Liberator Simon Bolivar continue to be cultivated, and Bolívar continues to rule victorious, over imperial threats, today, tomorrow and always”, as confirmed by the National President.
At the same time, he added that this is one of the few works that survived the arrival of the “petrodollars” that destroyed the entire colonial, old part of the city of Caracas.
For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Public Works, Juan José Ramírez, explained that these fully recovered facilities date back to the beginning of the founding of the Bolivarian Society by GJ Rafael Urdaneta, who, at that time, 1842 was known as the “Great Bolivian Society of Caracas”.
In addition, Minister Ramírez explained that, among the works carried out, there is the recovery of the Rafael Urdaneta Hall of the Bolivarian Society, immediate rehabilitation of the roof, walls, and in addition to this, the restructuring of the electrical and health systems and all public services.
