President Maduro paid tribute to teacher Armando Reverón 70 years after his physical departure

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, paid tribute to the teacher Armando Reverón, in order to commemorate 70 years since his physical departure.

Through a post on his Telegram channel, the head of state wrote: “Reverón puppeteer, Reverón the doll maker” immortalized in the verses of the singing father Ali Primera, in El Castillete, on the shores of Macuto who welcomed you and loved so much, in the genuine gaze of “Juanita”, your dear muse, on every rag doll you made, on the canvases and brushstrokes that you transformed into light, you will always be there... Armando Reverón, eternal artist of our country. 70 years after your planting, our recognition of your work and talent; teacher”.

Reverón was born in Caracas on May 10, 1889. He died in his hometown on September 18, 1954, and is considered to be the best Venezuelan painter of the 20th century.
