President Maduro: The FANB is the backbone of the construction of a new State of peace and stability

This Sunday, July 7th, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) is the backbone of the defense and peace of the Fatherland.

“The FANB is the backbone of the construction of a new State, of peace and stability, it is the pride of 500 years of struggle,” he emphasized from the Military Academy Courtyard during the joint graduation ceremony in the different categories and became active reserve for the 1991 promotions of the FANB.

He also highlighted that the men and women who live in the FANB are imbued with the heroes and heroines of our country, such as Ezequiel Zamora, José Leonardo Chirinos, Pedro Camejo, Francisco de Miranda, the Father of the Fatherland, Simón Bolívar and more. 

 In addition, he specified that with them they also carry “the principles and values of the young man who graduated here 49 years ago, our teacher and father, the great Supreme Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías”.
