In Venezuela, despite the sanctions, we have an obligation to grow and develop to achieve the country's power.
This was emphasized by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, during the fifth episode of his podcast, where he said that the Government has been taking steps to, little by little, recover the national economy.
“We are achieving it and we are going to achieve it,” he said, while stressing that “the vicious formula of economic war” has been applied a “virtuous formula” to increase domestic production and make the non-oil economy grow.
In this regard, he explained that progress has been made in the recovery of PDVSA from within and from the national tax system to increase revenues to the country's coffers.
“People can have the absolute peace of mind that, today tomorrow and always, we manage it, stretch it and do a lot with what little (that comes in),” he said.
In the same way, Maduro called for maintaining, through Bolivarian peace diplomacy, the international condemnation of the “economic genocide” to which our country has been subjected with the unilateral coercive measures imposed by imperialism.
