President Putin talks with families of military victims in special operation

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the families of the military personnel killed during the special military operation.

Quoted by the RT news agency, President Putin said that “Christmas is one of the warmest holidays and perhaps more familiar than the New Year, and it is also characterized by the fraternal unity of the peoples of Russia”.

During the meeting held near his residence in Moscow, the Russian leader stressed that “on this holiday many courageous and heroic men, boys continue to defend the interests of our country with arms”. In that order of ideasThe president told the families of the fallen soldiers that he wants this meeting “to be a clear and understandable signal so that they always and everywhere feel that there are people who can come and support them if necessary.”

Putin invited the relatives of the fallen soldiers to a Christmas dinner served in the main hall of the residence, after which some attended mass with the president.
