The National Public Health System deployed a permanent vaccination day against yellow fever on February 25, in 22 prioritized parishes in four states of the country: Lara, Barinas, Portuguesa and Aragua.
In these entities, the population will go to local health centers to get vaccinated and learn about the prevention plans being carried out by the Ministry of People's Power for Health.
In addition, a vaccination point was activated at the Dr. Vicente Salias Sanoja Military Hospital located in Fuerte Tiuna, Caracas, with the purpose of serving military personnel, due to their permanent mobility in the national territory, and their next deployment to cover prioritized entities.
Among the prioritized parishes are: Aragua: Libertador, Camatagua , San Casimiro, Valle Morín, Capital San Sebastián and Villa de Cura. In Barinas: Sabaneta, Arismendi, Santa Lucía, Alto Barinas, Manuel Palacios Fajardo, Barinitas, Bishop, Libertad, City of Otter and Santa Catalina.
Meanwhile in Lara: in Agua Viva, Guerrera Ana Soto, Gustavo and Vega León. While in Portuguese: Guanare, Guanarito and Trinidad de la Capilla.
It is worth noting that the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, invited the Venezuelan population to participate in the immunization days. “If you've never been vaccinated, well, let's go right now, it's time to get vaccinated,” he said.
