The Minister of People's Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, announced this Saturday the extension of the registration deadline for the 2026 Creative Robotics Olympics.
“We invite all roboticists and teams that are still adjusting or improving their prototypes to complete their registration before April 10 and be part of this challenge that promotes ingenuity and the resolution of technological challenges,” said Minister Jiménez on her social networks.
He explained that this extension offers a new opportunity for more teams to join this experience where innovation and talent take shape.
He stressed that interested parties will be able to complete the procedure for their participation through the orc.mincyt.gob.ve website.
The competitions for the Olympics will begin with the state qualifiers from April 13 to 18, will continue with the regional stages in different areas of the country and will culminate with the National Olympics on May 29 and 30, where the best proposals will be found.
The minister asserted that this initiative is part of a national scientific agenda that promotes technological development, in order to promote young talent and to bet on a generation capable of converting ideas into solutions that impact the future.
