Ricardo Menéndez: We have a comprehensive vision of the essence of Venezuela's political project (+Popular Consultation)

The Sectorial Vice President of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, urged the Venezuelan population to participate massively in the National Popular Consultation 2026, which is being held this Sunday, March 8.

“Let's go out and continue painting the communities and communes of the projects, of the dreams that each of us has, that we have depending on the country we deserve,” he said after exercising his right to vote. 

 

He stressed that it is “transcendental to go out and vote for those projects that are most relevant to each Commune”, which have a vision of what each of the consultations means, “that's why today's day is so important, let's go out and vote”.

He said that the day represents “an absolutely different way of generating public policy, where Venezuela is an absolute vanguard, from the point of view of the resources directly managed by our people. There are concrete transformations that are being planned in each of the communes.”

“Today we have a comprehensive vision of what is the essence of Venezuela's political project, which is direct democracy, and today we see the seventh Popular Consultation, which means the organization and construction of Venezuela,” he stressed in statements for Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
