Rodríguez described the National Popular Consultation 2026 as historic participation

The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stated that the National Popular Consultation on March 8 “obtained historic results”, during a telephone contact with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

He stressed that the day coincided with International Women's Day and that the country once again demonstrated its capacity for organization and participation.

“We had a historic participation in 2026, where Venezuelans went to select the projects of their preference for the human city and the productive economy. We have broken a record of participation,” he said while congratulating every citizen who went to the voting centers.

Rodríguez recognized the work of the National Electoral Council in expanding the electoral infrastructure and thanked Plan República for its national deployment. He stressed that the consultation reaffirms a Venezuela that is reunited in the community and that collectively builds its well-being.

“Let's go to Venezuela and let's continue to participate for political and national life in union. That is the path of our homeland,” he said. He especially congratulated the communes and communal circuits for their record participation in the selection of projects for their territories.
