Students from the Concepción Carvajal and Cecilia Mujica schools took a tour of the Didactic Center for Science Teaching (CDEC), Yaracuy nucleus, where the activity Science and Field: the Route of Productive Knowledge took place.
During the experience, participants explored soil composition, its essential nutrients and the relationship between microorganisms and agricultural fertility.
In addition, physics and mathematics were present to explain the forces, measures and proportions that determine efficiency in production processes.
The day held in Yaracuy also integrated spaces dedicated to robotics, astronomy and artificial intelligence, where young people understood that technological innovation can be an ally of rural sustainability.
In this regard, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), young people reflected on the role of science as a means to optimize natural resources and improve the quality of life in agricultural communities.
The tour of the CDEC culminated in an experiential activity with small experimental demonstrations, allowing the exchange of knowledge and wonder, where curiosity was transformed into meaningful learning.
The Route of Productive Knowledge is framed within the Great Mission Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, making it possible to demonstrate that science is not only done in laboratories, but also in every attempt to understand and care for the earth.
