The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reaffirmed that the Amnesty Law must be applied to achieve union and reconciliation among all Venezuelans, referring to the fact that a national consultation process is under way on this legal instrument.

“I am very pleased with this process,” he said during a productive day at the Rio de Oro Food Processing Plant, in the Baruta municipality of Miranda state, where he verified the operability in each of his areas of action.

In this context, he urged all sectors of the country, “we are going to join this Amnesty Law and we are also going to join the Program for Democratic Coexistence and Peace, where, based on differences, plurality and diversity, we meet”.

“But let us meet with respect, Venezuela wants to work, to move forward, Venezuela wants to overcome difficulties and it wants to definitely overcome the illegitimate blockade against our country,” he stressed.
