President in charge: Sausage consumption increased by 32% during January 2026

The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that in Venezuela during the month of January 2026, there was a growth in the consumption of sausages of more than 32%, compared to January 2025.

“This is the path that we are looking for for our country, that Venezuela does not stop, that it advances and grows with economic, political and social peace,” he emphasized.

This was stated during a productive day at the Rio de Oro Food Processing Plant, in the Baruta municipality of Miranda state, to verify the operability in each of its areas of action.

In this regard, he specified that in 2025 it set a historic record in the production of sausages, reaching a total of 125,325 tons, a figure that represents the highest volume recorded in recent years.

The president in charge, Rodríguez, stressed that the objective is to support the country's productive forces and promote initiatives that contribute to the consolidation of the agri-food engine.
