Russia warns the US that if it seizes its assets, the consequences will be serious

The Kremlin spokesman, Dmitri Peskov, asserted that the possible seizure of Russian assets by the US will have serious consequences. ”

“Of course, this is a very provocative statement announcing the possibility of illegal actions against our property, against our assets. This cannot be left without profound consequences,” Peskov said.

These statements by the Russian diplomat are due to the fact that the Bloomberg agency reported that the White House supports a bill that provides for the confiscation of frozen Russian assets.

According to what was published by the Sputnik website, the diplomat added that most of his country's assets are not in the United States, but in Europe, while warning that the nations of that continent will face negative consequences if they follow the US policy regarding frozen Russian assets.
