Ruta de la Esperanza brought music and theater to the César Rengifo transitory camp

The Route of Hope held a cultural and recreational day this Thursday at the César Rengifo transitory camp, located in the Altagracia parish of Caracas, where children, young people and adults participated in activities aimed at the emotional support of families affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

The program included an evening of popular songs by the Beatriz Miranda Foundation, whose members offered a musical repertoire that provided spaces for encounter, solidarity and recreation among the residents of the camp.

As part of the day, a theater workshop aimed at young people was also held, facilitated by Janeth Colmenares, from the Ateneo Casa del Arco Iris collective.

During the activity, participants learned about the fundamental elements of performing art through exercises in body expression, voice management and dynamics focused on emotional reconstruction.

It should be noted that the workshop will take place permanently at the César Rengifo camp as part of the actions of the Route of Hope, an initiative that promotes cultural and recreational activities to strengthen the integral well-being and coexistence of families who remain in these temporary spaces.
