Science Vacation Plan 2026 was successfully completed in seven states of the country

More than 720 children and young people actively participated in the learning and closing days of the Science and Technology Vacation Plan 2026 in the states of Zulia, Carabobo, Portuguesa, Apure, Anzoátegui, Miranda and Monagas.
The deployment by region consolidated diverse training experiences in Zulia, they interacted with researchers in the laboratories of the Zuliano Institute Foundation for Technological Research (INZIT); while in Carabobo, the youth of the Santa Rosa sector in Valencia had their introduction to astronomy from the Fermín Toro Technical School, details a press release from the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MPPCYT)
In Portuguesa, more than 320 participants completed four weeks of activities in Guanare, Páez and Araure. Meanwhile, in Apure, 280 children and young people completed their training at the Fish Station and at the National Institute for Aquatic Spaces (INEA).
While in Anzoátegui, the fourth group completed its modules in Robotics and Telecommunications at the Meganucleus of the Teaching Center for Science Education (CDEC) Barcelona. In Miranda, the participants visited the headquarters of the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC) next to the Science and Technology + Science Park; and in Monagas, the plan included training in risk management and seismic engineering.
