The National Scientific Seed Program continues its territorial deployment to awaken technological vocations and strengthen Venezuela's cognitive independence; this time, the states of Portuguesa, Zulia, Lara and Bolívar were the scene of intense learning days that integrated children and young people into the fascinating world of innovation.
In Turén, Portuguese state, 40 young people from the José Antonio Abreu Educational Complex participated in an intensive workshop on Computer Architecture. With the support of the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) and Infocentro, third and fourth year students explored everything from the historical evolution of computer science to the technical recognition of hardware; this training prepares them for modern academic careers.
For its part, the Mega Robotics Center in the state of Zulia welcomed the children of the La Alquitrana Foundation, who, through playful dynamics, discovered concepts of physics, biology and astronomy.
In Lara, the “Dr. Anamaría Font” Itinerant Science Room served 95 students from the Bolivarian School “Inocente Vásquez Abreu” in Barquisimeto, and offered practical experiences in microscopy, chemistry and educational robotics.
Finally, in the state of Bolívar, the Alfredo Maneiro de San Félix Industrial Technical School became the epicenter of cognitive sovereignty. There, FUNDACITE promoted a training ecosystem that links scientific rigor with Bolivarian Ideology; this work reaffirms that knowledge is the fundamental tool for the defense and productive development of the nation.
Territorial deployment is the direct result of the public policies of the National Executive, which, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT), promotes the Great Mission Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán.
