The National Scientific Seedbeds Program, together with the Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (CMDNNA) of the state of Aragua, developed a day of emotional and recreational support in the Barrio El Carmen community, Girardot municipality.

This was announced by the Minister for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, through her Telegram channel, in which she stressed that these actions are of great importance to meet the emotional needs of children after the double earthquake recorded on June 24.

“Providing emotional support to our boys and girls is as important as meeting any other need,” he said.

During the activity, the little ones participated in learning and entertainment spaces through educational robotics and telescope observation experiences , with the purpose of stimulating curiosity, strengthening trust and promoting emotional well-being.

Jiménez noted that science and technology can become tools to accompany communities in difficult times, creating spaces where children can learn, explore and maintain hope during the recovery process.
