Children and young people learn about science with the Scientific and Technological Vacation Plan carried out by the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) in the state of Cojedes and the National Scientific Semilleros Program.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology, at a conference held at the Eloy Guillermo González school in the Ezequiel Zamora municipality, girls and boys aged 9 to 12 participated in an Educational Robotics workshop.
The participants learned about the principles of electricity, electronics, circuits and the operation of robots with the Ultimate Kit 2.0.
Young people, in addition to learning to assemble and program robots, strengthened their critical, cognitive and logical thinking.
In the area of microscopy, the children explored an invisible world, observing blood and water samples, which aroused their curiosity about research.
For their part, fun chemistry allowed them to make ecological plasticine with natural materials, promoting recycling and the conservation of resources.
