SENIAT installed work tables to optimize tax collection

The National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT) set up working tables with tax and customs personnel, with the objective of advancing plans and strategies for the optimization of tax collection.

In this regard, the National Superintendent, Román Maniglia, in his account on the social network Instagram, emphasized that “we have started working groups with professionals from the tax and customs departments from all over the country, to get on the same page and learn about the opportunities that will make it possible to make tax collection in the country more efficient and effective.”

“We began this great challenge at the head of SENIAT with the vision of transforming the tax and customs model through modernization, digitalization and automation,” said the superintendent with the purpose of creating a new tax culture that adds to the country's growth.

He also reported that they have begun the inspection of the main customs offices; in turn, they began the tour in La Guaira.

“Faced with the effects we already know of the devastating double earthquake, we have united in a single spirit of solidarity to build together that rebirth of hope for our beloved Venezuela,” he stressed.
