SENIAT raised 456 billion 567 million 79 thousand 595 bolivars in February

During the month of February, the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT) collected 456 billion 567 million 79 thousand 595 bolivars.

Through a post on his Instagram account, the superintendent of SENIAT, José David Cabello, explained that the income received from Income Tax (ISLR) was: 236 billion 979 million 60 thousand 344 bolivars.

He also indicated that the amount collected for Value Added Tax (VAT) is 116 billion 73 million 556 thousand 816 bolivars. While for customs matters, 72 billion 659 million 844 thousand 71 bolivars were reached and what was obtained in other Internal Revenues is 30 billion 854 million 618 thousand 364 bolivars.

The publication noted that Internal Revenue includes tax revenues for cigarettes, liquor, inheritances, fines, interest and other items.

Superintendent Cabello Rondón said that these figures demonstrate the Bolivarian Government's firm intention to continue raising resources to guarantee the country's economic and social well-being, as contemplated in the first transformation of the Plan of the Seven Ts, aimed at consolidating food sovereignty, sovereign management of income, democracy, defense and sovereignty of natural resources, in order to build economic bases.

SENIAT reaffirms its commitment to Venezuela to carry out its work efficiently and to hand over to the National Treasury the revenues that are invested in economic and social development plans and projects.
