The Professional Basketball Super League (SPB) announced the change in the format of the competition for what would be the Super Round.

In an official statement issued on the league's social networks, he explained that the first phase of the postseason will no longer be “all against all”.

Instead, it will be played in direct confrontations between conferences of seven games, after the teams unanimously decided it.

The keys will be played as follows: Gaiteros del Zulia vs Gladiators of Anzoátegui; Spartans Capital District vs Trotamundos de Carabobo; Marinos de Oriente vs Brillantes del Zulia and Pioneros del Ávila vs Guaiquerís de Margarita.

This measure seeks to prevent the completion of the tournament from interfering with the preparation of the National Basketball Team for the AmeriCup 2025.

He also announced that there will be a mandatory break in the postseason calendar due to the Regional and Parliamentary Elections scheduled for May 25.
